Pumphrey sucks and they have a glut of players at RB, but I wonder if they are willing to expose their 4th round pick to the waiver wire. I'm skeptical.

That he does. I like what I've seen out of Barnett but Pomphrey and Gibson could be cut, they gave up a 3rd and Matthews for Darby who looks lost. They could have packaged a future 3rd and 4th, moved up a few spots, and drafted Lattimore.

me and you both were not happy with the pick but i have to say all the returns so far are positive

Absolutely.  But they needed a starting cornerback more than they needed a freaking backup defensive end.  They overthought it just like they usually do.  That's why the only thing they have sitting in the trophy case is dust.

They didn't draft a 2017 starting CB. They easily could have but chose not to because THAT'S what they do.
