Clyde Simmons follows Gregg Williams to Cleveland from STL/LA and will be their new DL coach

I have his autograph from when he played in Jacksonville.  A buddy of mine was doing media for them and got me sideline passes during a game.   A truly nice guy.   He got a laugh out of me telling him I was an Eagles fan and the Birds were farging retarded for letting him and Reggie walk.  But he was 30(!) and that was that.

I'll look for the photo at home.  You all care.

Don Ho

Clyde   :yay :yay :yay

And I totally forgot about his Jacksonville experiment.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

QB Eagles

My recollection isn't so much that the Eagles let him go because he was 30, but that there was open war between Braman and large segments of the team (including Simmons) over both money and the firing of Buddy. A big chunk of that defense was part of the lawsuit that opened up free agency, which made them ineligible to be protected in the early years of free agency. And Clyde and Seth immediately left to play for Buddy in Arizona as a final farg you to Braman.

Rome

I remember thinking the team wouldn't make the playoffs for a decade or more after the mass exodus but then they got Ricky Watters and a few guys on defense and boom they were right back in it.   Just another mirage, though.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QB Eagles

Grigson fired by Indy after five of the worst years of GMing in modern NFL history.

i dont see why they would radically change that offense...chances are they promote from within to the qb coach or whatever
