The NFL just announced the Seahawks violated offseason rules prohibiting excessive contact in offseason workings, citing a June 6 OTA practice.

The team was fined $400,000, and will lose a week of OTAs next season, along with their 2017 fifth-round pick. Coach Pete Carroll will also be fined $200,000, and the team will have to pay players for the OTAs which are cancelled next year.

Dirty Seahawks. No wonder they won a SB, doing shtein like having an extra practice with contact.
