every cfb game means the world theres a 162 mlb games so them being longer would naturally get people more upset

that said i could care less about any sporting event being too long...those complaints arent from real sports fans

cfb is the most egregious of those because they really dont have a governing body....its like the wild west. the conferences are all for themselves and by and large the teams are, too. thats why games can go 5 hours -- they dont care at all if they bleed into another game's timeslot.

in the nfl this doesnt happen. keeping games to ~3 hours is important because the 130-425-800 transition needs to be seamless. in short, roger goodell is a unquestioned god and should run for president.

the nfl is pretty horrible the sooner you realize this the happier your life will be...i realize youll love it as long as it has awesome ratings cause you care about that more than the sport itself but trust me judge it by the game

the game itself is unquestionably superior. college is a fun and all but the players by and large suck. the rules are silly too -- no roster limits, no game day active roster limits, clock stopping on 1st downs, 1 foot needed for a catch, etc. i like cfb fine but its a childs game.
