Ron Glass, 71. Rome will remember him as the black guy from Barney Miller and Munson will remember him as Shepard Book from Firefly.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Don Ho

Ron Glass also had played Felix Unger (the clean prissy one) in a remake of The Odd Couple in the 80's.  The son Lamont from Sanford and Son played Oscar, the sportswriter dude who was a slob.  Show bombed.

Ron Glass was great in Barney Miller
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.
