the question of all questions after this game is....one time thing or springboard into November and December?  we finally saw the offense (after the first quarter) click.  the running back rotation was great and the tempo was up and it was wearing out the defense.  bradford looks calm in the pocket and his accuracy was the best it's been all year.  i think that's a continuation from the panthers game for him because he was pretty good that night but some of those throws last night were great.  they still have nothing at WR outside of matthews but if they can run the ball like they did last night it mitigates the need to have studs outside.  eventually though (and probably next week) teams are going to load up the box and basically play zero coverage and make the WR beat them.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Sgt PSN

I love him, but at the same time he's really played out. He really doesn't have a signature call and he just doesn't sound Philly even though he is.

no one said worst ever, just most overrated.  it's not that crazy to say.

I'd disagree but to each his own. Something about that high pitched squeal when he goes off.

I give credit to Quick for not cutting in and interrupting.   So many big plays you hear the analysts for local teams cut right in during a big play at the end.

I guess I really don't care either way as I rarely listen to radio broadcast of games and only really hear the highlight calls on sports talk during the week.

Most great local guys are great because of their longevity. I like Merrill and think he does a good job. His voice can be annoying at times but it's not like he's Myron Cope whose voice was grating. And it's not like he's whoever the Royals have on PBP who when they won the series sounded like he was at a funeral.
