Great play by Ghost. Zero doubt they lose this if it goes to a shootout. Detroits winning too. The Caps have jack shtein to play for Wednesday but I doubt they lay down.

I could maybe see them resting some people at some point but trotz is not the kind of coach that will let anyone lay down...add in the caps horrible history of choking in the playoffs and the last thing they want is to go in cold...altho that pertains to the last seven games....this will be the very first game after clinching the prez trophy so there might be a small unavoidable letdown

ideally tho what happens is that detroit loses tonight in a tough 2nd in two at montreal then the caps game becomes a bonus game versus a must win type game

isles also should have lost last night....were losing and outplayed most of the game they stole one
