Apparently Lecavalier's agent has indicated that he will retire after the season.  The Flyers may get out of the full contract after that.

2017-18 should be full speed ahead....umberger and streit will be gone...and the young defenseman should all or mostly be up...they can then start seriously addressing the forwards

not sure if anyone heard or cares but koecny got traded last week in the ohl....his debut tonight for his new team he notched a hat trick

provorov coming off world juniors where he was voted the second best defenseman in the tourney scored 2g and 1a in his first game back
