jahlil is awful

Said this to my buddy at the game Sunday. He gave me the Duncan comparison. Jahlil is an unbelievable low post scorer but he's so unathletic and one dimensional. He would have been a good fit in the nba 20 years ago. I understand taking him because he was bpa. Brown was interviewed a few games ago and said the same thing, that the scheme doesn't fit his game but there's a medium they're trying to make work. I think they give him a few years then mcw him somewhere. I know it's dumb but I'm holding out hope Embiid recovers. Don't know if the foot will ever fully heal but maybe he plays a few years through the pain which is what other players have done.

you cant kill the pick itself at 3...that would not be fair...I will only say that for a guy that is supposed to be brilliant and part of the new nba that includes analytics...pace and space....stretch big men etc he should have known better...you cant be the genius you are supposed to be and do something as elementary as BPA...the problem is hinkies mindset is still collecting assets not the best players and he deemed okafor to be a better asset...not a chance okafor isn't moved along with some draft picks to move up in a draft at some point

ive counted about five times this year where both his feet were off the ground

I've thought his on ball defense has been OK this year.  He's atrocious with help D and recognition.

I still think he'll be a very good offensive player.   I have probably irrational confidence he'll develop a bit of a shot - his form doesn't seem as farged as Noel's.   Never going to be athletic, never going to be good D player.

The silver lining in this is you hope that in-game experience and playing a lot of minutes will result in him improving. Will he ever be an around the rim stud defender...probably not...but if he can improve to average then its huge because his offensive game will be strong

i don't disagree but Hassan has accidentally got seven of them and rarely has the ball unless he gets a rebound
