Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

How many times did you yell "go back to college" today?

it's hard to get all cranked up over this win because the saints blow but there are good things to take from it.

my thoughts:

- oline came to play and looked half decent.  hopefully they can survive to the by week and get healthy and maybe gel as a unit for the end of the season
- running game looked good, thanks to the oline.  Mathews still looks much better Murray.  more explosive, quicker to the hole.
- Bradford overall had a good game.  The first RZ pick was horrendous but i give credit to the DB on the 2nd one, it was a nice play.  For the most part he was decisive in pocket, and put the ball where it needed to go.
- WR drops are still ridiculous, led by Jordan Matthews.  then he has the balls to talk shtein to defenders when he does actually catch the ball
- i'm sick of seeing Riley Cooper throw his hands up and rip down the straps to his chin guard every time he doesn't get the ball exactly where he needs it
- fletcher cox is a monster
- NO didn't have anybody to test the corners so they appeared to have a good game, they are still a huge problem
- Malcom Jenkins is really becoming a playmaker at the LOS, he had a couple of real nice open field tackles on RBs with the ball yesterday, his nickel coverage has been good too, he just had the one bad play where he let Cooks get off the LOS and catch a long pass.
- Caleb Sturgis needs to DIAF
- glad to see Chip go for a couple of 4th downs, hated the play calls though

Jenkins and Cox (with Thurmond and Logan close behind) have easily been their best players this year.  Jenkins started well last year before fading some I'm a little cautious but he has been great this season.

And Jordan Hicks has been surprisingly good and consistent so far

im not 100% sure miles austin didn't run the wrong route....impossible to know for sure without knowing the play that was called but it looked to me like he should have run a slant but instead he straightened the route out
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

I was thinking the same thing. Austin basically ran a skinny post, which isn't usually a very productive route that close to the endzone. Almost certain it should have been a slant.

Could not agree with you more.  Thought this pick was a complete waste at first.  Guy is always around the ball and has a motor on him.  Love what we're seeing.
