the offseason is precisely part of the reason i think they dont hit on all cylinders this early....football isnt a sport where you can usually clean house and be a cohesive unit right off the bat...on top of that as mentioned their new qb hasnt played in two years

if they come out and smoke atlanta in this spot then i still think superbowl talk is way premature but i would understand some honest to good hyperbole when it comes to the season and holy shtein will the dallas game be off the hook

I have the eagles winning tonight but I wouldn't be surprised if they lose. too many variables.

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

to be honest, sight unseen they should beat dallas by double digits based on no dez, no hardy, no gregory,

if the pass rush isn't there, i wouldn't be shocked to see atl blow the eagles out tonight. ryan to julio at home is no joke.

i think the pass rush both ways is the key...if im the falcons i blitz the living shtein out of bradford until he proves hes ready to stand in there and sling...i cant imagien he isnt tentative in this scenario tonight even without getting blitz...if they let him get comfortable and in a rhythm early then it doesnt bode well for them....eagle pass rush goes without saying....they must have one

im looking forward to brandon graham with this new deal under his belt...they gave him much more money than his resume called for...are they right that hes ready to become a force?....he also predicted that he would get 32 sacks this year

So you're saying I should've started Sproles on my many, many fantasy teams?

Did you guys watch ATL in the pre-season at all?

Like I was just telling my boy here...PS results don't mean shtein. But when you watch the execution...of vanilla gameplans at that...and it flat out stinks then you can get a pretty good handle on how prepared a squad is. The Falcons OL is on par with a college team. That is why I wasn't shocked to see Indy, Baltimore, Seattle and Dallas struggles yesterday because they all looked shoddy in their pre-season work.

I'm not impressed with Atlanta.

Eagles win easily is my projection.  Front seven and ST shine.

I'll be at my local pub, and I'll regret it tomorrow.

My head says eagles are about 7 points better than Atlanta but I have a weird feeling about this game.

31-27 eagles

lot of eagles peeps in the house in the dirty dirty

dome gonna be rockin though....what an advantage for the worst sports city in america
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Those are the inactives. Taylor Hart gets some run for the first time in his career.

Oh and yeah...ATL is loaded with Eagle fans. Total HFA for Matty Ice!

i think you are homer trolling so i wont list the dozens of teams who had as many or more fans than the eagles will have there tonight and lost to matt ryan in the dome...and i wont laugh at the child like thinking that because another team has a few thousand fans there that it somehow eliminates the home field advantage.....maybe pittsburgh at Jacksonville and a handful of other stadiums is the only team you could say that about in the history of the league and not sound foolish

i also wont go thru matt ryans home road splits

does this mean the falcons are def going to win....of course not....the eagles are favored for a reason....but romey asked for reasons why the falcons can win and matt ryan at home is a huge one...certainly a better reason than thinking the eagles are going to win because they are the bestest and they have fans there

I was in Miami in 2003 with 25,000-30,000 other Eagles fans.   No one can tell me we didn't make a difference that night.

The entire upper bowl of that shteinhole was midnight green.  No exaggeration.
