yeah i feel like i'm pretty realistic with my hopes, but if you think it's gonna take 7 years for this team to get good then the tank is def not working.

i dont know what "get good" means but they arent contending for a title for five years best case scenario unless you think embiids career is not ruined...i gave him the benefit of the doubt after the draft....but the fact that hes going to miss this next season as well tells me hes yao ming and every other big guy who has been doomed by the navicalur bone...doesnt mean i dont think he was worth a shot....but ill be shocked if he ever plays consistently in the league...so essentially you are starting the tank over with okafor...even if you believe jo jo he can still become a superstar they have a team of 19/20 year olds....you dont get in your prime and win titles until your mid to late 20's...it takes a long time in the nba

getting ty lawson for free would be stupid...giving up a one would be assinine

you think they are contending next year because of ty lawson?....all he would do is get them a couple unnecessary wins that would cost them in the lottery

He's not winning them a bunch of games and someone has to get the ball to the big me so they can develop.

okafor doesnt need to develop...his best attribute is that he already has the whole low post repertoire....nerlens needs to develop a shot and its not going to be difficult to get him the ball since no one guards him

if you wanna do something to help okafor get him shooters to open up the floor...not a veteran point guard who wont be a part of the future and will only hurt their present by causing them to fall in the lottery

i agree that a first for lawson is dumb.

but for some 2nds, if that's possible, regardless of his age he'd be a great guy for a few years to help these young guys.

i want to get rid of a few of these 2nds anyway.

MDS is a basketball genius, i'm curious too.

my buddy's nephew is the #3 SG in the country right now as a sophomore. lonnie walker. sixers could use him in a few years. also farg that means i'm old.
