Don't think they're taking a HS pitcher #1, especially when many of the top-5/10 HS pitchers taken recently have struggled (plus they might be able to save $1M-$2M by taking a college kid then use that for higher bonuses elsewhere in the top 10). Think they go Puk and fast-track him like Nola for mid/late 2017.  If he gets his control problems straightened out, he could be legit Randy Johnson dominant (and hopefully not a lefty Aumont)

yeah they have a whole season to still play....so much can change....and it doesn't matter if a middle schooler is the clear cut number one prospect that's who the Phillies are taking
