I've been on vacation since nine days ago.  Haven't watched a single inning of Phillies baseball, even when staying in Philly with family.

It's been bliss.

thats how i feel about basketball....find the sixers unwatchable but can still enjoy phils game here and there

well you are super white....so i get that

but in general basketball is better than baseball...most people who dont like basketball can still watch a game that doesnt involve their team....whereas most baseball fans wont even watch their own team if they arent good much less a random game

totally agree....its tough for baseball tho because they have so many starting positions and it isnt a sport like football where players can become good in five minutes

i think the nfl team will always be #1 in any city because again its so easy to go from bad to good

eagles - a clear number one because of the the sport they play...need a qb soooooo bad and if they had one they would be a 8 or 9...as is they are a 6.5

flyers - the crop of D prospects is ridiculous....love what hexy is doing...he is basically hinkie magic but is taking guys who will play soon...i think they could be cup contenders in the next 2-4 years....id give them a 5....i think they are 50/50 to become real players in a few years

sixers - the assets are ridiculous but the plan is falling apart to the point of having to start over and they play in a sport that takes forever to win in...2020 is a best case scenario and the odds of failing are huge...2

phillies - they are the sixers without any real assets...a lot of that has to do with baseball...its a sport where arron nola can look amazing in the minors but odds are he ends up being kyle kendrick....cant get excited about most baseball prospects until they actually come up and perform for a couple years...unless you have some trancendant guys and like you said sd even their best hopes arent that exciting...they are PHILLIE top prospects not game changing MLB top prospects....they have a disgraceful ownership situation and a terrible front office....they are going to be bad for a really long time and they are in a sport where hope is not strong....they really need the top pick next year...0

nola is ahead of his age but has very little upside or talent....could he be greg maddux...sure....but at best if he makes it hes probably a #3 guy

youre a rankings whore. im a real world guy. i dont care where baseball america had nola. i dont care if his grainy minor league vids show up on baseball tonight. i looked at video, numbers, read reports. dude aint kyle kendrick. but yes, he isnt a kershaw-level guy. OMG!
