they need a safety....a few offensive lineman...another cb...a few wr's...now a couple of those can be filled in the draft but giving all that money to the rb position could severely hurt them specifically at wr...theres also trades...we don't know whose available now or who might be in the summer...but with little to no cap room you don't have the flexibility to make a deal for anyone significant

I do not like the potential trade of Mathis. He's 34 but he's in pretty good shape and hasn't had much mileage since he wasn't a full time started for awhile

I don't have a problem with him going all out and spending them dry...but allocate wisely and what they did at rb is not wise

then again the nfl salary cap is a farce......as Washington has shown over the years...maybe he really can get a great player at every position and complete the plan
