Quote"Was it a miscommunication?" Cooper said. "No. (Sanchez) knew the the route. I knew the route. I ran the route. He threw the ball."

The statement by Cooper appears to throw plenty of blame at his quarterback, who struggled against the Seahawks, completing 10 of 20 passes for just 96 yards passing. Sanchez agreed it was a bad throw.

"I missed the landmark to Coop," Sanchez said. "I just missed it. I was kind of flushing forward and I didn't get everything that I wanted on the ball. It was just a bad throw."

The play in question might have been Sanchez's worst throw of the day, but it also appeared as if Cooper could have done more to break up the pass.

"I can't let it get intercepted, I guess," Cooper said.

Discuss.

I'll start, they both suck.

My son lit my phone up after that play, I think he hates KKKooper more than anyone here and that's saying something.

Don't know if you could tell this on tv but every time Sanchez stepped up into the pocket he had 5-10 yards of running space in the middle of the field. Take the farging yards so their lbs know they have to account for you.

Neither one of them will be on the team next year, so really, who gives a flying farg?

Cooper will certainly be on the team next year, just not as a starter. God, I hope not as a starter. Imagine if they let Maclin walk and Cooper becomes the #1 receiver.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Chip always defending Cooper is puzzling

And Riley should just never say anything. Zip it until you make some plays, meat

General_Failure

Huh. I wonder if that has anything to do with Chip's twitter handle, @pureblood_HH

Bobby Wagner said that Shady "didn't want any part of that contact"

I find that hard to believe. He's never been one to shy away from taking a licking

Bennett said Sanchez tried impersonating a good QB. In reality he's not a good QB...don't think anyone's ever accused him of being anything more. Would love to think this would motivate the Eagles in case they meet up in the playoffs but Seattle is too good.

hes used to playing dallas giants and wash

eagles 1-3 against the nfc west this year and would probably lose to stl if they played right now

They'd beat the Cards and Niners right now

#206
doubtful...maybe niners....but i still dont think they can score against them and they arent getting a million ST and defensive touchdowns again

either way we should all be thankful they play in the nfce

phattymatty

they already lost to both, other than the niners looking like complete garbage i don't see why they would beat either of them in a rematch either.

SD

The Niners are horrible. Kaepernick is probably the worst QB in the league right now.

The Cards aren't good. They were at the top of their game and healthy last time we played...now not so much.

PhillyPhreak54

They would beat the Cards in a re-match even if they had Palmer at QB. They're the worst "good" team in the league.
