First play shot down the field? Check.
Throwing the ball and not using a stud back to control TOP? Check.
Getting behind because you're not running? Check.

Eagles_Legendz

Can't see home field going anywhere except GB now which is probably curtains.  Need them to lose at Buffalo in a blizzard or something.

PhillyPhreak54

Yep...they'd need some crazy shtein to happen. I can't recall the details but didn't the Eagles catch a break with Detroit beating someone in 2004 to help them clinch a bye?

#33
it was 2003 and it was st louis...then your boy lost to jake farging delhomme

another scenario i thought up is seattle getting the 5/6 (which would require the cards somehow still winning the west) and beating green bay in the divisional round. i think thats more likely than the packers dropping a regular season game.

seattle has the secondary to slow down that passing game....wilson runs around in the pocket and bullshteins a few scoring drives...they come to philly in the nfccg and lose again! homer!
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

Just hope Arizona holds onto the division for the 3 seed, Eagles get the #2 seed, Arizona wins their matchup and comes to Philly, and Seattle gets in as the #5 seed and goes to Green Bay and pulls off a win there in round 2.

IT CAN HAPPEN.

Crazy that one of the Eagles, Cowboys, Seattle, and Detroit aint making it.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

That's right 2003....

Good point on Seattle going there and knocking them off.

QB Eagles

Today was bad for the Eagles, but Lambeau isn't everything. The only Rodgers home playoff win was against Joe Webb. Everyone needs to R-E-L-A-X.

PhillyPhreak54

He hasn't thrown a pick at home in two years and has 30 TDs

nice try, but if brady can't win there, im not sure how mark sanchez can

Sanchez has beaten Brady and Manning at home in the playoffs. Is it likely the Eagles would go to Lambeau and win? Nah, I give them a 30% chance like in the last game. But that's not zero. And it's only a little worse odds than what I would give the Eagles against the Packers at the Linc. The Eagles problem is Bradley Fletcher defending against Aaron Rodgers passes, not northern Wisconsin.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

this comment from the PFT piece about Reid's "stalling out" comment cracked me up

"The way Andy Reid ignores Travis Kelce, the team's best receiving option, you'd think that Kelce was one of Reid's sons.

Or a salad."

PhillyPhreak54

lol

He ignores everyone on that offense. It's maddening to watch.

He's 3-7 in the division since last year too
