No, but it's stupid.  He was one of the 5 best players on the team since they drafted him and was involuntarily removed from the team.   

Then again, I never got the argument for booing Werth either, as he was one of the best players on the WS team.

werth was booed because he went to the nats and took a ton of money...plain and simple. its honestly quite stupid, people are just morons. he did get cheered on his initial AB and was actually very well liked.
