they brought up asche last year, i dont think thats it.

really they are concerned about how it looks with choke. they are paying him 25 mil and if they call up franco, choke becomes a 25 million dollar bench player which is a pr disaster. plus if they call him up now they are basically giving up on choke which means they are throwing away 60 million.
