Really not too upset because I knew they'd be outbid. What pisses me off is they just signed a mega billion deal with Comcast yet they're still not willing to upgrade their team when all they have to part with is money.

im all for destroying the phillies, but not throwing 72 mil at a mediocre unknown talent isnt a bad thing. plus the last thing they need is more long term, bad contracts.

its not really about money for the phillies. their payroll is nearly 200 million...they spend plenty. they just dont do it correctly.
