bigger hit:

that homer or game 4 winner in the 2009 nlcs?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The horse collar tackle I'm gonna put on you

Randy Wolf sighting in the Marlins bullpen.

MAAAyberry gets the hit off HAAAnd to knock in two.  6-3.

Of course, that means the vaunted Phils bullpen goes three innings.  :paranoid

do you love jimmy more than 5

More than your tranny hooker.

impossible

marlins crew slamming redmond for his impossibly stupid move of intentionally walking tony gwynn jr. even if sandberg keeps burnett in the game its still retarded. but mayberry can hit lefties, i suppose.

i could imagine tmac weaseling his way through that.

My only guess is that Redmond was trying to force Burnett out of the game, which he did.  But you are correct - retarded move on all levels.  Especially since he didn't have a righty ready to pitch to MAAAyberry.

MDS

he must of thought they werent going to pull burnett....or simply forgot about AAAberry. lol and the marlins crew is still harping on it. no one watches their games so what the hell, go crazy.

burnett slammed his bat in the rack (saw that on tv) and twitter said he threw a water cooler or something. not happy. but i dont blame ryno. had to make the move there. burnett did not have good stuff.

I would have been surprised if Sandberg hadn't made the move.  Had to there, especially with the team (last three games notwithstanding, I guess) often struggling to score runs.  And, like you said, Burnett wasn't exactly mowing them down.

PhillyPhreak54

PH'ing for Burnett was the right move. That clown can be pissed all he wants. Throw strikes, meat.

lol at Redmond trying to imitate the great Lou Piniella

And yes...Jimmy is way ahead of Five

PhillyPhreak54

The team MA's are doing well.

AAAsche (his E-5 outburst notwithstanding) is hitting and Diekman is throwing well.

Geowhizzer

Whoops, forgot that the Phils were batting in the top half.  Bullpen has to go four innings, not three.

Deserves an extra  :paranoid :paranoid
