They're not ripping him because he talked smack, Jay.  They're ripping him because he's sucked for half a decade.  I know it's verboten around here to say it but he's washed up and so are his farging lame ass has been teammates.  People are sick of the arrogance that team consistently shows because they simply can't back it up anymore.  They're tuning out, turning the channel and staying away from the ball park because of it.  And another thing... that's his mindset?  Really??  He just won the ball game and his reaction is to say farg you to some dickhead in the stands?  That's just lovely.

The guy got under his skin and he let it show. I like when players shoot back at iceholes who rip on them for no reason. Jimmy is having a good start this year so why rip him? What could this guy possibly be heckling him about?

He's sucked for half a decade? So even if that were true then that's how we treat Philly legends now? We rip them? No sir.

And we all know they're past their prime. So what would you like them to do? Just stop showing up to play? Quit? I mean they're not going anywhere so why not have some fire and try to win?

Who's ripping him? I've seen nothing but praise. Had a conversation at breakfast this morning with some random couple and they thought the same thing I did "Jimmy is the farging man". If you can't appreciate a guy like Jimmy who plays with a chip on his shoulder then go root for another team.
