the hawes move was great and as much as I wanted ET gone, this doesn't make sense to me.

give them another future draft pick for a guy that was gonna be gone in a few months...the sixers traded their second rounders in 2015 and 2016 so today was a combination of adding in this years draft which is incredibly deep and restocking in the next couple drafts...deep down i think hinkie magic would admit hes disappointed he couldnt steal a first rounder somewhere along the line but he just wasnt dealing from a position of strength....at least not from the position that a lot people said they were in going into the deadline

their two deep for the rest of the year is beyond comical...i feel so bad for thad he deserved better

1 - mcw, maynor
2 - JA, wroten
3 - hollis, earl clark
4 - thad, moultrie
5 - b mullens, sims

yeah i didn't know there was a pick involved in the ET trade when I wrote that. still, not the best trade of the day. but better than originally.

does ET even start for the pacers? prob 6th man.

and don't sleep on the hollis-henry combo. dudes had good chemistry at gtown. just joking this team blows.

thing with henry sims is, JT3 is such a horrible coach that all of his awkward assist-happy centers end up becoming good pros once they get some real coaching and some strength training. he could eventually be a solid back up player behind noel the all-star.

and bryan mullins is like the same exact player as hawes except not as good a shooter. never been so happy about such a bad team.

hes also a significantly worse defender...yes there is a guy in the league that is significantly worse on defense than spencer hawes...its not hyperbole to say that mullens is the worst defender in the nba...but yeah overall hes pretty much a shteintier version of hawes...i think he could be an effective shooter he has the ability but what makes hawes much better is shot selection...mullens takes so many low IQ shots where as spencer had a plan and would get himself into good looks even if it just meant working into a soft spot behind the arc

QB Eagles

The ET trade is kind of sad for everyone involved and yet it still makes sense for both teams.

And yeah. I would think he's a bench player. He's really not very good. His stats are inflated on the Sixers because the team is terrible.

After the Washington and Clipper deals today, Hinkie has promised our 2014 2nd to four different teams......none of which will see the pick.  Memphis gets it if the Sixers are 51-55 and Houston gets it if the Sixers are 56-60, and since there's no shot of that, he probably offered up 41-45 and 46-50 too

I updated the first post on this page with more info on the 2nds the Sixers got:  the Indiana pick is Golden State's one in 2015, and the Clipper pick is 2018

SunMo

They waived Earl Clark to get the roster down to 15
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

SD

QuoteFrom ESPN Stats and Info: Thaddeus Young (76ers): 30 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 steals (first player to reach those marks since Hakeem Olajuwon in March 1987)

SD

More than likely the Sixers will only have to give up two 2nds for Moultrie, and they still come out the losers on that deal. What a scrub.
