Spurs trading Leonard for Young seems like pure fantasy.

Chameleon

Leonard for Young...... lol deal.  The Sixers are a good example for the Phillies. If only the Phillies were more like the Sixers.

Don Ho

"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

you guys are way overrating kwahi leonard....im not sure he hasnt already hit his ceiling (so has thad of course but hes four years older)...i like his versatility and he would be a massive upgrade on the defensive side of the ball but young for him would not be anything close to a lol or fantasy deal

really you could make the argument that the sixers would be better off with danny green as bb's offense is based on shooters and the sixers right now dont have a single player who can shoot at an nba starting level

that said im not hating on kwahi and wouldn't be mad or anything at that trade but id rather have green and their first i think

i'd take either one in a second because thad is a big fat loser.

I think leonard is hampered in the spurs system.  Part of this is probably overrating him due to his performance in the playoffs last year but I think his numbers go up significantly in a different offense or when he's getting more than 28 MPG.

i mean anyones numbers can go up by getting more minutes and/or more touches....but that doesnt necessarily make you a better player....look at evan turner the last couple years...hell or even james harden...he takes away as much as he gives....

i just dont see kwahi leonard as anything close to a lead scorer type....hes a really nice versatile player whose best attribute is his defense and id take him in a heartbeat....but hes not outrageously better than thad young

what was most impressive last year in the finals was his defense on lebron....for much of the series he played him better than anyone ive ever seen....i would love that kind of defender on this team

Yeah his D is his strong point. Maybe like a George Lynch type guy with a better offensive game

Agreed with everything here, except preferring Green and a first. I don't prefer Leonard over Green and a first deal, I'd be psyched on either one. Leonard is still like 22, which is farging awesome. I know Green stayed all 4 years at UNC so he's gotta be late 20's now. Considering he's just a spot up shooter, age doesn't really matter... but I think trying to build a team that can make runs for years (2017 and later, whenever) would be better off with the young lockdown defender who opposed to a spot up shooter in his 30s and some random late 1st rounder.

thad seems like a sweet man but he's a total spaz an drives me crazy. either one of the spurs will be a better fit for the future. later buddy.
