Some are claiming it's basically a done deal, but can't be officially signed until the Flyers clear cap space.

It's the Flyers, so who really knows...

a try out contract is a lot different than a 3 yr 8 mil no trade deal

It's a tryout contract, if they like what they see then they'll sign him. They're $2 million over right now so if they want him they'll go over the cap then have space once the season starts and they LTIR Pronger.

Not exactly sure why, but it appears as if there is some complication between Daniel Cleary and PHI. Told he will not be joining Flyers.
