I was all for the Eagles tanking in 2011 so they could get this kid with a top 10 pick. The fact that he stayed for his senior year, had a down year, and fell to them in the 4th round is something that just doesn't happen to the Eagles. This could be one of those picks that 5-10 years from now, about 20 teams in the league are kicking themselves in the ass for not making themselves.

Of course, since it's the Eagles, he'll probably have 1 great game and then die unexpectedly the next day.

apparently shady was calling barkley "mark" all day today at practice....when corrected by a reporter he said all along he thought his name was mark

My thoughts exactly. Whether or not he amounts to shtein is irrelevant for the conversation I had at work yesterday.

I talk birds at lunch with 3 other guys and the one guy hates the pick because there were other needs. While this is certainly true they took the BPA which is the point we're trying to drive home. I think dook hates USC and anything associated with the school but he actually said there were better QBs on the board at the time.
