No one gives a shtein any more.  Players, FO, fans, nobody.  Always get excited for a series with the Cardinals and hardly watched any of it.   Tigers, I should be jacked but turned it off after three.  Just unbearable to watch this double A lineup trot out there every night.

its only 50 mil...they threw 125 down the drain on choke...so what the farg

they said he was basically ML ready. for that much im guessing hes a starter?

this means they are buyers now right?.....deplete the hideous farm system even more than it already is...resign GRIT to a stupid deal...have paps for two more terrible years and set the franchise back 15 instead of five years

or does it mean they are huge sellers now....phifer and GRIT go for a decent package to replenish the farm...paps is saving game six of the world series for Detroit...and gonzo is a foundation piece

From what I've read Detroit has no interest in Papelbon.  Evidently are willing to ride what they have.  Could be smoke, but the Phils will have to eat at least half of that deal and still may not get more than a middling prospect.

Which may still be better than paying Papelbon full price over the next two years to recover from Tommy John surgery.

of course the lee business is either hes getting dealt or now if you want him youre trading for a pitcher with neck issues
