ive never seen one highlite of tug other than the final pitch in 1980...in fact nothing else out of phils career is ever mentioned
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

I can't tell you how many times I tugged it to Bo Derek.

Does the name Joe Carter ring a bell?  What do you think of when someone says his name?

SD

A lot of the players they put on the wall for reasons other than what they did on the field...hello John Kruk and Juan Samuel. If Kruk isn't the baseball personality he is and Sammy isn't a coach neither of them make the cut IMO.

Here's a question...does Abreu belong on there? Not my favorite player but he had the stats zed longevity (compared to the others) to be in the conversation.

Rome

13 pitch AB from HOF to draw the walk.  Epic.

Juan really was amazing.  I was pissed when he got traded to the Mets.

I agree on Abreu - he was just a good player.

Kruk and Daulton are (to this point) the only representatives of the '93 team.  Dykstra would be some day if it wasn't for his personal / legal issues - that's doubtful now.  Schilling is the only other player likely to be added.

And Samuel was the man.

MDS

LA is getting in at some point but thats more for being a broadcaster than 93

hollins figures to be next if they need someone from 93?

Don't see Hollins getting in.  Too short an effective starter, and some allegations of steroids.

i was crushed....at the time he was my favorite player in the city...one of my first really clear sports memories was his rookie year and me wanting him so badly to get 20 triples...if i wasnt watching the game id get up and run to the newspaper the next morn to see the box score hoping to find 3B - Samuel (20)

he would have been so sick if he just had better plate discipline...his strikeout totals were crazy
