Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Moyer is a definite and Blanton is a maybe

I think you should have to play for the team for at least a decade or so to be considered.  Lidge had a great 2008 but he was totally unworthy otherwise.  Hamels thru Burrell on that list get the nod.  The others don't IMO.

This just doesn't happen very often these days.  Players move and few spend 10+ years with one team.  And when you're the Phillies, who don't have many sustained periods of success or even a very long list of great players, if you're going to do a WOF, you need to adjust your standards accordingly.

I'd put the entire farging 08 team on there as a team plaque along with individual plaques for pretty much every starter and Lidge.  I'd put the 2010 team on there as a whole as well since they set a franchise record for wins.

Phillies lineage is not good. Might as well embrace the few bright spots that shine within the abyss.

I think Geo's "definites" is the list. Vic and Ruiz are/were fan favorites and are stone cold locks to make the wall. Lidge is all about one year, but it's the year they won the farging World Series.

Lidge gets the nod because the first image you think of when someone mentions Phils 2008 World Series is him on his knees.
