You can't expect him to hit and field too. He pitched great today (as well as Stras) and got buttfarged by his teammates and the first base ump.

his contract was an abomination when he signed it and its now worse

hes an ok pitcher....hes not a 150 million dollar man

His contract is questionable and he's had some clunkers this season but this wasn't one of them.

It means he pitched well today so only the igys of the world would pick today to bitch about his contract.

a 150 million dollar contract is much bigger than any individual start....im pretty sure he will pitch well again sometime over the next five years....but so will trevor cahill

bottom line is heidis a 13-10 type pitcher.....not terrible not great and definitely not 150 mil

youve watched cole hamels for the past 8 years. you know hes a very good pitcher. is he as good as justin verlander? as stras? as king? as kershaw? ok no. but hes still quite talented at throwing a baseball. stop.

Not something said very often, but Todd is right. And all of those guys he named are going to get a shteinton more money than Hamels did, so his contract is probably right about where it should be.

he had a great october 2008....other than that eh

he also cost them the 2009 ws with his offseason victory tour

but keep sucking him off....eventually youll actually believe hes great
