This stat is just amazing.  I can' think of a pitcher in recent memory that has fallen this hard.

Three hits by this team in the last 15 innings and zero runs scored in 20 innings.

Against the Marlins. The farging shteinbag minor league marlins who employ about every washed up Phillie known to man.

Didn't get home until 4pm - by then it was too late to bother with the Phils.  NHL playoffs all the way.

And I guess those few decent starts in a row by Halladay were a mirage.  I was hoping against hope it might at least be the beginning of finding a new equilibrium, but he's back to the depths.  If he's not completely done, he's not finding his way back anytime soon, and not with the Phils.  Probably should have had the shoulder surgery last year, because he's probably going to get it this year at some point.

until the end of may they have 23 games--all but 5 against good teams. the 5? 2 vs injuns, 3 at miami...p.s. they went 2-4 against those teams this week

so this stretch here could be extraordinarily ugly. like 1 win per week ugly.
