well they certainly could use his bat. unless youd rather not have a dude with a +.400 obp in your lineup

but he was hysterically afraid of walls
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

That surpassed Milt Thompson's catch in San Diego back in 93 where he stole a homerun with an incredible leap.

I'd rather have you as an English tutor for my 12 year-old than have Abreu back.

So, no.

a certain sect of the wip crowd despises and forever will despise abreu because he didnt crash head first into walls and for the unproven belief he wasnt "clutch"

its all nonsense hyperbole spewed by 40 year old has been drunks at the pub and on the overnight show on wip. and lets be real, thats rome's wheelhouse

i love the people who said he walked to much...and that his walks were due to him being afraid to swing at the ball...as if all those 100 rbi season came on bases loaded walks

40 plus years of knowledge tells you that someone who doesnt make an out 40 percent of the time he steps up to the plate is a bad player?
