i understand it because thats what the spring is all about...overvaluing your team in baseball...every fan base does it...but youd be less maddened if you stepped back and just looked at the roster and manager...that way this wouldnt bother you in the least

It's the fifth game of the season, there's no reason for anyone to think any differently than they thought during the spring unless you assumed they were gonna steamroll their way to 120 wins. It's super early still, teams can start like this and finish pretty much anywhere, good or zesty.

It's also just last year's team with another tree ring around the infield and pitching, and some crap and mediocrity added by Amaro. There was no great mystery surrounding what to expect from the 2013 Phillies. There are only a few legit questions like just how done is Doc, and is HOF gonna become a real player.

hof showed a while ago that hes never ever coming close to his ceiling...the question for him this year is he even a major leaguer at all....

as for doc if you looked at it with clear eyes you knew that he is not doc and never will be again....the question is does he get 8 wins or 12

to me the only real questions this year were how many games will GRIT play and can choke get back to being a top notch run producer
