Next week: Has Andrew Luck ingested too much yolo?

The man. The myth. The legend.

The NFL Network crew, specifically Irvin, just took Shanny to task on this. But he also said, and others agreed, that Bob needed a slice of humble pie.

re: griffin, i don't think i'd say swagger is the right word.  desean = swagger.  steve smith.  colin kaepernick.

griffin has reminded me, to an extent, of donovan this year.  Blaming others.  Definitely passive aggressive.  He hasn't come across as a natural leader this year but that's a different criticism than saying he's got swag.

This is pretty accurate and I didn't open the article. Swagger is the incorrect term. RG3 needs Danny Boy to coddle him because big mean Coach Shannahan isn't being nice. So he appeals to the owner who hugs him tight and tells him everything is going to be alright. It's a bitch ass move that's even lower than anything Donovan would pull.

Well that is a hammer job by LaCanfora. Jeez!

QuoteHere's the thing: Griffin has always been a diva. He was going to bring some unusual family baggage. It was well known in scouting circles at the combine before his draft, chatter about his father being a "tennis dad" and tales of Griffin's mom staying at the team hotel for bowl games and being in meetings. Regardless of how much of it is true, or just the pre-draft fiction that gets concocted every winter, it was all out there, swirling. So if you thought this kid -- already a media darling as a Heisman winner -- was going to be low-maintenance at the next level, you're beyond naive.

phattymatty

igy is 100% right on this one. rg3 is pretty much the opposite of swag. i couldn't get past the 3rd paragraph if that article. as much as i want to guy to be a compete failure he acts like a good dude...in fact a little too nice / corny at times. definitely has mcnabb syndrome.

yep. he has the total woe is me attitude except he has it in year two whereas it took donnie about 10 years to reach that level. i think he'll bounce back a bit with a new coach but i'm starting to think he never becomes a consistent top tier QB in the league.

So the slang usage is the problem here?

He's not a cocky arrogant dickhole?  He's not passive-aggressive Hoyda either?

I'm confused.  And hungry.   I'm thinking crab cakes for lunch, actually.

Was that really in there?  I read 3 posts, threw up in my mouth, and put on some porn.

Serious question:

The Skins come to the Eagles right now and offer RG3 straight up for Foles, do you make that trade?

igy you don't need to answer

I wouldn't.
