I was just thinking about how bad the eagles safeties are and then I was remembering how Kerry Rhodes made a bunch of headlines for obviously being gay but denying it in the offseason and I thought, is that closeted gay dude still unsigned because he's pretty good at football and the eagles need players who are good at football.

Cardinals' 2012 3rd-rd CB Jamell Fleming is being released today.

He would be a good pick up, has good size for a CB. Started 3 games for Zona last season. There has to be more to the story.

NFL is considering suspending Bucs S Dashon Goldson for Sunday's helmet-to-helmet hit as well as his hit history.

Goldson has 15 PFs in the last two seasons which is more than any player in the league. It's not a hard concept to grasp, don't lead with your helmet. Sure sometimes the helmet to helmet is called when it's impossible to avoid but a lot of these guys are leading with their crown. I just watched the two Merriweather hits, he launches himself head first. He got knocked the farg out by his own stupidity.
