Seattle's kickin ass tonight

So week 17's flexes are done.  Dallas/Washington to SNF, then GB/Minnesota and Miami/NE to 4:25.  Both NY teams on at 1:00 and both Bay Area teams on at 4:25

Seattle is going to the Super Bowl.

They're peaking at the right time and their defense, running game and Russell Wilson are all playing outta their minds.

MDS

they arent getting past rg3 in the first round

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Um, the taterskins let Nick farging Foles throw for 345 against them.  The Seahawks would obliterate them.

ice grillin you

given 50 attempts i could throw for 345 yards against anyone in the league that does everything possible to help the offense

So you're saying the taterskins actually encouraged, aided & abetted Foles yesterday?  That was their plan - to allow him to march up and down the field all day until the very last play?

How devilishly smart!

SD

Foles had similar numbers to RG3 only Foles was sacked 5 times while RG3 was sacked once.

no im saying 345 yards passing in the nfl on 50 attempts is a hollow number

He had over 300 yards on 34 or so passing attempts up until the final drive. He was forced to pass the ball 14 times the final drive because he had to control the clock. If Evan Moore holds onto that pass they tie it up. I'm not sold on Foles but I would like to see what he can do with a full training camp with the starters and an adequate O-line. Right now he's playing behind the worst O-line in the league. One thing I'm impressed with is his toughness. Vick was tough but he's so small that he'd get sacked like a rag doll. At least with Foles he lumbers down and his head doesn't whip off the ground.

What else are they going to do, trade for Tebow?  May as well give the kid a chance.  At worst, he's Bobby Hoying.

Eagles probably suck the next two years anyways.

Obviously it all depends on which coach they hire.  If they get Kelly then Foles is history because he isn't running a spread offense.

Honestly, I want no part of Kelly because of his chuck & duck philosophy.  I've had more than enough of that from Reid & Morningwood.   I want a traditional offense with balance.

Same. I want NFC East style football back. Solid running game and a tough D.

theres no such thing as nfc east football anymore....give me aaron rodgers tom brady or big ben whipping the ball all over the field....of course their defense needs to get a lot better but they need a qb before they ever have a prayer of winning and nick foles is not that guy...if you wanna be realistic with rg3 in the division they dont have much hope for the next decade

all traditional offense is out the window with mccoy as your running back and nick friggin foles as your qb

mccoy is a stop cut and go rb
foles has a very slow drop back off the snap and muddy feet in the pocket

if anything mccoy's talents benefit the spread o that gives him space to run
foles needs to be in a shotgun...but even so I highly doubt he has the accuracy to even run a spread
