wow just started really looking at the bowls and oklahoma lost twice.....to the #1 and the #5 teams in the country and didnt make the bcs

how can you make the BCS when you have to make room for a school whose OOC schedule was:
losing to awful Iowa
beating awful kansas by 7
beating awful army by 1
beating middle tenn st

worst part is it turned on ugly game - FSU/L'ville - into two ugly games. 

Who cares about FSU/NIU & UF/L'ville?  I could've dealt with FSU/L'ville as sort of the warmup BCS game and had a good time with UF's D against OU.  Now I completely DGAF about two games, and am only mildly interested in Wisconsin/Stanford.  Bleh.

the media and the coaches are not smart college football people

that was the problem to begin with

actually college football writers are psychotic about their sport...and know way more than me or you...and know more about their sport than any other beat writers....yes because of this bias played a role...but for the most part the majority of writers were able to set aside their favoritism and make the right call

cant recall to many years where you can argue that the natty champ in football didnt involve the best two teams in the country

It won't have the shock value of Boise knocking off OU in the Fiesta - but if they can take down FSU it will be fun.
