The man. The myth. The legend.

Records and "winnable" games left:

Chiefs 1-9 (Panthers, Browns, Raiders)
Jags 1-9 (Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Titans x2)
Browns 2-8 (Raiders, Chiefs, Skins)
Panthers 2-8 (Eagles, Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders)
Birds (Panthers, Skins) and Raiders (Browns, Chiefs, Panthers, Chargers) both 3-7
Rams (Cardinals, Bills) 3-6-1

Looking good for at least a top 5 pick.  Huge Chiefs/Jags/Browns/Panthers fan starting about 6 hours ago.

yep, bucs comeback and Cleveland/Jax blowing those games was huge.  Way more disappointing than the Eagles result today.

They would've had the #3 pick right now if Cleveland and Carolina held on and Oakland had beaten the Saints, but they're sitting at #6 instead

Top guys to watch for:

QB = Geno Smith (WV), Matt Barkley (USC)
OT = Luke Joeckel (A&M), Taylor Lewan (Michigan), Jake Matthews (A&M, Bruce's kid)
OG = Chance Warmack and Barrett Jones (both Bama)
DE = Bjoern Werner (FSU), Damontre Moore (A&M), Sam Montgomery (LSU)
DT = Johnathan Hankins (OSU), Star Lotulelei (Utah)
OLB = Jarvis Jones (UGA), Barkevious Mingo (LSU, DE/LB mix)
MLB = Manti Te'o (ND)
CB = Dee Milliner (Bama), Johnthan Banks (Miss St)
S = Eric Reid (LSU)

Of course the first thing I looked at on Ed's list was Safety.

Quote10/23/2012 - OCT 22 NFL DRAFT SCOUT FALLER: FS ERIC REID, LSU...Arguably the top safety prospect in the nation, LSU free safety Eric Reid has appeared in the first round of just about every mock draft my colleague Rob Rang and I have done so far for the 2013 NFL Draft. And while his talent and tools scream top-32 pick, he has shown some maddening inconsistency this season. Reid is a fantastic downhill athlete with quick read-and-react ability to attack the play with steam spurting from his ears. But his biggest strength is also his greatest weakness, playing with nonstop aggressiveness and intensity, but he doesn't always control that hostility in a smart way on

the football field. On Saturday against Texas A&M, Reid, like most weeks, was basically used as an extra linebacker, lining up in the box. He attacked the Aggies quickly, but over-aggressively as well, getting sucked in and biting on fakes and misdirection. Reid also recorded a costly personal foul penalty for a late hit out of bounds, a dumb mistake and example of his inability to control his intensity at times. He throws his body around and might be the most violent striker in the SEC, but if Reid doesn't learn how to play smarter and harness his fierce playing style then he'll have a tough time making a living in the NFL. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

if Andy is still involved...
Jake Matthews (A&M, Bruce's kid)

Book it.

Imo, how do you not draft offenseive line with the first pick? Even the first and third? At this point, you have to draft your most glaring need.

General_Failure

Would the smartest guys in the room go with the obvious pick? Of course not.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Well, we can only hope Lurie cleans house and the smartest guys in the room are different people.
