Yeah if there's one thing the Phillies have in the farm system it's young arms, I don't think losing Cosart is gonna be a huge blow.


If Joseph can blast 25 HR's and bat .250 at the major league level...that's not bad. He can split time with Valle/spelling Howard if he's legit, then move to first when Howard's gone.

If he's not legit it won't matter anyway as the team will be vastly different in 3 years

There's no point in rehashing that or getting upset that they gave up a bundle to get him.   They rolled the dice with Pence and overpaid because they had to.

now what. if amaro doesnt pull those moves you a frothing at the mouth about how cheap they are bla bla bla. but he does, then arkansas loser blows a 4-0 lead, the homegrown lineup cant score a run in game 5...and thats it.

Amaro was given a team coming off a World Series, almost unlimited payroll, and a deep farm system. He's turned that into a last place team that almost went over the luxury tax and a depleted farm system. At what point is it okay to get upset?
