they could perhaps make a run but even if they get the 5 they have to win 1 game to get in, then have to win in that gay 2-3 format to get to the nlcs. and its not like theyd be playing the brewers at that point.

so really their chances of winning a world series this year reside somewhere around 0 to .5 percent. meanwhile if they gutted their old and slow team they could be contenders from 2014-2020 easily.
