i havent been upset one single time this whole year cause i knew they would suck but the one thing i cant get over is how farging bad of a manager chuckles is

how many times is he going to refuse to bring paplebon in  non save situation...someone needs to tell him that the phillies dont win close late games anymore...EVER

its not 2007 so bring in your 51 million dollar closer in some of these games to extend it.....especially when hes pitched like four times in the last three weeks.....joe savery and co. are NOT getting it done...

It's mind boggling but yet moot.

Bringing in pap just delays the inevitable. They can't manufacture runs and their bullpen sucks, therefore they won't win many close games. Also, who made the decision to send down valdes instead of savery? Its small but good lord is savery awful.

i agree they probably will lose anyway...but when you are farging 10 games out of first and desperate why wouldnt you reach out and do something that isnt on your laminated bench card....the farging guy has less than a handful of innings under his belt this month and is getting paid 51 mil...i think he can pitch in a tie game over joe farging savery

Saw a stat today where they're 0-16 in games when Savery appears.

Absolutely.  10 games out and these knitwits aren't chasing one team they're chasing four.  Get desperate for Christ's sake.
