I'm shocked that they lost. Shocked!

I'm equally shocked that Chad Qualls gave up more runs.

Helluva team ya got there, Mister Amaro!!

It's really amazing that everything that could have gone wrong with these iceholes surely has.

Halladay & Lee both get hurt.  Vanimal is hurt.  Blanton pitches like shtein.  All the hitters (except Chooch & Spaz) forget how to hit.   The bullpen absolutely implodes.  The bench turns out to be a laughingstock.  Just amazing.

MDS

how is it amazing?

anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming. they were getting really old and the other teams in their division all got a lot better.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ice grillin you

im wondering if they still are now on par with the yankees and red sox like a lot of homers say

phillies less than five years into their new era on a level with the great frnchoses in the league are already a last place team.....the sox havent finished below .500 since 97 and the yankees since 92 much less finishing in last

Spaz's hitting has been less than stellar too. His RISP is pathetic.

The bullpen and bench are directly attributed to Amaro being a cockface zesty GM.

not even close

look at the sox...they were dead in the water this year and are still right there. then again the only elder they rely on is ortiz and he is just the dh.

meanwhile the lolllies entire lineup is a century old and now you get what you get

it depends if they wake up and realize what they have

if amaro breaks up the band in july and trades victorino, pence, hamels, etc, they can get some very good major league ready young talent. you call up brown, give him a shot. you play those guys and wait out the 2013 contracts, and by 2014 you should have something.

in fact if they do this 2013 should be an exciting year. it wouldnt be a title year, but it  could be the start of something.
