and the phillies seem to have a lot of role players.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Oh yeah - I know all about those 5a programs over there. Serious football there buddy.

Quote"I would swing at that every single time," Victorino said. "He just beat me."

A six-game winning streak and chance to escape last place was skunked by a 7-5 loss to Boston. Joe Blanton was undoubtedly at fault, but so too was an offense that stranded 11 runners and hit 2 for 12 with men in scoring position.

Victorino's at-bat in the eighth inning of a two-run game was the signature moment. Aceves, the Boston closer, walked John Mayberry Jr. on four pitches after Rollins' run-scoring infield single. Victorino hacked at the first offering - a 94 m.p.h. fastball over the heart of the plate - and popped out. Rollins, the tying run, never made it past second base.

"I went up there looking for a cutter," Victorino said. ". . . I got the pitch I wanted and he just beat me. I tip my hat. He got me. It is what it is. I'm not going to sit here and question what I did."

Charlie Manuel said Victorino, who had three hits Saturday, was free to swing at a good pitch.

"It's pretty hard for me to put a take on there with the bases loaded," Manuel said. "You know?"

its not the reason they are finished, but its a reason.

victorino is what he is and of course he goes up there swinging. charlie being the bumblefarg 3 run homer dumbass that he is doesnt know to tell his ADD retard hitter to wait for a strike.

bad baseball from a bad team

It's time to start questioning what you do up at the plate you moron.  I don't give a shtein that he had 3 hits today, they had Aceves on the ropes and coconut brain swings at the first pitch.  Go back to guest appearances on 5-0.

Was it the 5-0 reference or the coconut? I always think about your post from awhile back when I have WIP on and they play those stupid clips from CBS.  I heard it tonight while at the gym, the one for 5-0 is by far the worst.

Yea, I know.  I'm not proud of it.  Got to feed the family.

Cholly pulling Orr back and letting Fat Joe pitch the fifth cost them that game.  He's a retard.

I think about half of the Phillies fans watching the game knew at the time that decision would cost them. Heavy B had nothing. And lol at him jawing at the ump. Yeah it was the ump who gave up four homers.

Whatever, they were due for a loss, and the hitting is still alive. I'll save the rage for when the bats go silent again.
