I think this may be my first (and last) time posting on this thread, but I have a serious question....Why all the hate towards Werth? Because he took the money and went to an in-division rival?

He helped the team win a WS, did them a favor by not signing that deal so Lee could return, then was replaced by a younger, cheaper Werth in Pence..

Personally speaking I don't hate him - I don't blame him for taking the $12whatever million that dumbfarg Rizzo gave him. I'd have been pissed if Smugly had matched that offer.

But he gets mocked for not producing and living up to that contract.

Its a Bobby Bonilla/Mo Vaughn/Oliver Perez type deal for Washington.
