Why?  Because he hit a teenager with less than a week in the bigs?  Dont get me wrong, Harper is a farging baby and there arent enough bad things that can happen to him, but Hamels was an embarrassment  and to top it off, he lput him on base and Harper ended up stealing home. If you're going to put him on then you better not let him do any damage on the bases.

I love what he did. farg Harper. I'm glad he drilled that little bitch then confessed. Hamels knew his actions were going to cause a retaliation and he took his medicine like a man. Hamels could have pulled the usual "the ball just got away from me" but he said farg that I did that shtein on purpose.

I think he embarrassed himself, yes.  They still won, that's great.  But the explanation afterwards was laughable, especially coming from him.  He's not old school and he's not a tough guy. That's not his shtick and him trying to pretend it is is hilarious.
