the fact that brian sanches got through 2 innings was impressive

3 was asking too much

fun game, though. who knew they could score 13 runs?

no they dont. they technically dont have to win any games because they arent really good, but nevertheless.

besides doc's meltdown everything else in this game was gets filed under "weird baseball happenings during a 162 game season." jimmy's errors, the terrible call on jimmy 3-2, michael schwimer, brian sanches, carlos ruiz having 7 rbis, vics bullshtein infield hit to tie it...nothing made any sense in this game.

they just happened to lose it. oh well. the braves owed them one. 2 weeks from now this will just be an L on the calendar, and if they would have won it just would have been a W. it means dick.

Yes..you do not lose games like that. Not when up 6-0 and 12-9. Rationalize it all you want, but that's an awful loss.

it would be an awful loss if this were september and they were a world series contender

as i said doc should be killed but the rest is just kind of whatever. oh no brian sanches gave up a homer. omg!

MDS is basically the authority on the Phils. He rarely says anything I can even mildly disagree with regarding the team anymore.

I'll check in sometime in July or so. He's got this.

not quite

last year = regular season meant nothing because they were winning 100 games regardless
this year = regular season means nothing because they arent making the playoffs regardless

Outstanding performance by the lads.  The portly fellow was quite impressive.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.
