thats cause dopes will look at innings and not pitches...or they will say that it wasnt the 10th inning itself it was having to go out and stretch himself out for an extra inning

Yep...some of the comments on Philly.com (and Eskin on Twitter) made remarks about him going out for the 10th.

What channel is this on back home? I seem to recall something about a beef between the CW17 and DTV awhile back and I cannot see the Philly feed tonight for the second or third time/

Great city but the sports scene is a joke and the ball park is pretty meh

yea phl and other local stations dont have to give their feed up to EI. only the cable ones do.

i get both feeds for every game on mlb.tv though. not a huge deal unless you like cancer and want to listen to wheeler.

Ol Dick is 77! I just wikipedia'd him and saw that he used to do Angels games back in the day and did some other baseball too but never remembered hearing him call a ballgame.

As for going to SD - yeah, I have a vendor thats based there and when I talk to him he always talks about how awesome it is there.

SD - where is the best place to stay there?

Couple of my buddies from here are there now staying at the Westin in the Gas Lamp district.  Going to all 4 games.  Great park, great town, great weather 24 7 365.

Depends...if you like the beach the popular ones are Pacific Beach [young somewhat annoying crowd] Ocean Beach [old school California Beach town] Mission Beach [decent area, don't go there on Sundays] La Jolla [beautiful beach, higher class of people]. Down town is fun and if you're looking to take in a game that's obviously the place to stay. There's a red trolley that will take you up and down the city and even down to Tijuana if you're interested in a donkey show. Downtown is really clean and has the Gaslamp District which is stocked with beautiful women, bars and restaurants.
