the phillies dont need GRIT and choke to come back quickly they need sometime to quickly finish up inventing that time machine...it never ceases to amaze how all they have to do it get those two back in the lineup and all will be well...

just cause they are healthy enough to get on the field doesnt mean they are healthy and/or good enough anymore to drive in runs like they did in 2007

its very possible they come back and the phillies still dont make the playoffs

its all relative...im talking about the people who think they have a shot at the world series with those two half broken down but at least in the lineup

it will get better because now is such a disgrace so it almost has to get better....but its not going to get better as in they are going to win a playoff series...or "all will be well"

even with a full lineup this team has a low ceiling as to what they can accomplish

in a technical sense sure utley is better than galvis and howard is better than thome/mayberry/nix/wiggerton.

but in a will it make them win more games sense it wont make a god damn difference. neither player is close to what they were 5 years ago, let alone 2, and at this point neither can be counted on to do much of anything. certainly, neither are feared middle of the order guys.

they are washed up, past their prime, injury cases. and one of them is getting 25 million dollars a year for the next 5 years.
