S*** 74 million is more than the team is worth. You gotta start going to some of them games  GF so they can afford to get some decent free agents.

Even though the cap is going up for the Eagles that doesn't mean that much because it's going up for all the other teams equally so it won't help them competing for free agents.

Well it does mean something, because if the cap wasn't going up, the number of teams that could afford to bid on Bradford would be smaller and might exclude the Eagles. It's not like his asking price is going up $20 million because the cap went up that much.

Yes, obviously it does mean something, and teams can usually create more cap room it they want for a more expensive player. There's a few million extra to pick up a guy or two to start or round out the team and several other cases that it can help, but my point was that just because the cap is going up it doesn't necessarily mean it will be easier to afford FAs because in general the other bidders will be getting the same extra cash to work with, and this point seems lost on some people.

the cap is irrelevant when it comes to bradford...either the eagles like him and think hes their future and hes going nowhere or they don't and they let him walk
