but ill say it again...and i dont know if you agree with me legendz...probably not as very few do....but we wouldnt even be having these awesome discussions if there was a playoff....and this has always been my contention as to why a playoff is bad for cfb

i get torn about playoffs and the BCS.  i think the BCS has worked out well but part of me wanted to see OKSt last year in a playoff format so people could stop bitching about how they'd beat LSU or Bama.  But yeah, being down here, it's hard to argue that the BCS hasn't added insane fun drama that wouldn't otherwise exist between tonight and last year with the Iowa St game.

Yes it is.  Another great day of football.  Even BYU/San Jose State turned out to be a great game.

Watched most of the SC/UCLA game.  Bruins just beat the Trojans down.  SC looked absolutely horrible on defense.  Layne Kiffen is such a prick.

Forget the deflated footballs and switched jerseys, is there anything more head-scratching than this? A struggling USC coach receiving a vote of confidence after a loss to UCLA? Just another day in the wonderful Land of Kiff.

Then there's the criticism that Kiffin is not an inspirational sideline figure, rarely showing any emotion as he walks up and down with his face buried in his play card like he's studying an insurance policy. The Trojans don't seem to connect to this persona, which seemed to hurt them Saturday against an emotional Bruins team that was flying from the opening kickoff.

First, I know you went to college and still can't recognize BLATANT sarcasm even when it's posted in the form of a photo of a mural of Jesus (you know, with me being such a Jesus fan and all).

Second, I assumed everyone here knows I'm a Florida State football fan.  Been that way since the mid-70's.  My constant cheering of Notre Dame lately has been an attempt to harass Phreak because he's so unstable mentally about them.  It's kinda funny in that regard, wouldn't you agree?

Third, go to bed.  You've obviously been hitting the bottle again, and since your beloved taterskins are playing later, you'll need to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when they're on at one.
